Bellevue Verizon call center to close

A total of 850 workers in Bellevue could be out of jobs by the end of June, when Verizon will close its Bellevue call center.

Verizon will also close call centers in other parts of the country, affecting 3,175 employees nationally. The company is consolidating its call centers throughout the country.

Verizon’s regional headquarters is in Bellevue. It is not affected by the call center closings. The call center is located at 15900 S.E. Eastgate Way.
