New frozen yogurt shop for North end of Mercer Island

A new frozen yogurt shop will be opening on the North end of Mercer Island.

Menchies, a chain with stores throughout Seattle and the state, will be located in the 77 Central building in Suite 116 next to Mo’s Pizza, across the street from Walgreens.

The store, which offers a wide variety of frozen yogurt flavors and toppings, allows customers to pay by the weight, not by the topping. They also offer a selection of frozen sorbets.

No timetable has been given for opening.
