Mountains Plus Outdoor Gear on high growth list in Inc. Magazine

Mountains Plus Outdoor Gear, which is based on Mercer Island, received a high rank in Inc. Magazine’s annual list of America’s fastest growing private companies, the “Inc. 500|5000.”

Mountains Plus made the magazine’s 500|5000 for the second year in a row with three-year sales growth of 237 percent.

Inc. Magazine ranked Mountains Plus Outdoor Gear ( no. 64 in retail, no. 24 in Seattle and no. 1,301 overall on the 2012 Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking.

The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy — America’s independent entrepreneurs. Mountains Plus Outdoor Gear joins Facebook and Yelp among other prominent brands featured on this year’s list.
