Walmart opens today in Factoria

A new 76,000-square-foot Walmart, opened today in Bellevue in the space formerly occupied by Mervyn’s at Marketplace at Factoria. The space had been vacant for more than five years.

The new store will employ approximately 150 people.

Walmart employs more than 18,000 people at its 58 Washington locations.

The company’s average full-time hourly wage in the state is approximately $13 per hour, a press release said.
