A grand opening celebration was held at the new South end Chase branch on Tuesday, March 19, with a ribbon cutting. The South end location is Chase's second branch on Mercer Island.

"The opening of our new south Mercer Island branch represents Chase’s long-term commitment to serving the Mercer Island community," said Brittany Taylor, district manager. "Chase has vast experience in helping consumers and businesses with their financial needs and our branch is proud to be the newest addition to Mercer Island."

Chase now operates 210 branches in Washington state.

The South end Chase is 1,780 square feet and offers full services, including checking and savings accounts, business banking, mortgages, investment products and advisors. It is the first branch in Washington to offer customers the new next generation ATMs, allowing clients to request "custom denominations"; dispense bills ranging from $1 to $100; and pay credit card bills or load Chase prepaid cards with cash. In the near future, the ATMs will have the capability to dispense coins in addition to cash, according to the branch.

Chase is located in the South end shopping center at 8425 S.E. 68th Street. Lobby hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday; and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday.
