CCMV increases open gym time

The city has increased the amount of open gym time at the Community Center at Mercer View (CCMV) after Islanders asked for more access to the facility.

Open gym time has now increased by 13 percent. Open gym is a time designated for everyone, and is open to all ages.

Open gym hours:

• Mondays – 3 p.m.-5 p.m.

• Wednesdays – 2:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m.

• Fridays – 2:30 p.m.-5 p.m.

• Saturdays – 3:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.-10 p.m.

• Sundays – 2 p.m.-3:30 p.m.

The CCMV is located at 8236 S.E. 24th Street.
