Help feed the hungry this month

Help feed the hungry during the Eastside’s Month of Concern for the Hungry. Until Oct. 23, residents across the Eastside are encouraged to help those who are going hungry by donating nonperishable food items to local food banks.

Islanders can drop off food donations, such as canned meat, tuna, pasta and rice, to the following locations: Albertsons, the Community Center at Mercer View, Mercer Island High School, MI Youth and Family Services, and Rite Aid (the South end location).
