Mercer Island businesses are invited to join the Local Dollars, Local Youth campaign to help fund four local youth organizations. During the month of November, donations will be collected for the Mercer Island Boys and Girls Club, Mercer Island Youth and Family Services, Youth Theatre Northwest and the Mercer Island Schools Foundation. These organizations do not receive undesignated funding from United Way or any off-Island funders, and all donations received through the campaign will be split evenly among them. Customers can choose to add $1 or more to their purchases at participating businesses.
