Mercer Island author discusses Sounders themed book at Elliot Bay Books this weekend

Mercer Island author and resident Clare Hodgson Meeker will be at Elliot Bay Books on Sunday, March 27 from 1 to 2 p.m. to sign and talk about her new book.

Her book Soccer Dreams: Playing the Seattle Sounders FC Way, is a fictional story that focuses on a player who moves to the U.S. from Kenya. Meeker will be discussing and signing the book, along with Sounders FC player Patrick Ianni, who will be talking about the lessons he learned as a child.

Elliot Bay Books is located at 1521 Tenth Ave. in Seattle.
