City boards and commissions seek citizens

The Mercer Island City Council is seeking a diverse range of citizens to voluntarily serve on several advisory boards. The boards and commissions with positions available are:

• Arts Council (four positions)

• Design Commission (two positions)

• Planning Commission (two positions)

• Youth and Family Services Advisory Board (four adult positions for three-year terms; current 8th graders, three positions; and current 10th graders, three positions, for two-year terms)

The application deadline is Wednesday, May 4. For more information, go to www.mercergov.org.
