Kay Hirai, president of Studio 904 at 3041 78th Avenue S.E., invites the Mercer Island community to a celebration on Sunday, May 15, from 4 to 6 p.m.

Hirai, with the help of many volunteers, created and sold greeting cards to benefit Peace Winds, Japan, and Japanese animal relief after the March 11 earthquake and tsunami.

The group raised approximately $8,500.

The celebration will include refreshments, door prizes and entertainment.
