Eight receive diplomas from Holy Names Academy

Eight Mercer Island students graduated from Holy Names Academy in Seattle on May 29. Commencement was held at Meany Hall on the University Washington campus.

The graduates are:

• Josie Antilla will attend the United States Military Academy in the fall.

• Karen Dahl will attend the University Washington.

• Katherine Lopes will attend Smith College.

• Courtney Mitchell will attend Villanova University.

• Madeline Seifert will attend the University of California at Berkeley.

• Alyssa Weed will attend the University of Washington.

• Katie Welch will attend Santa Clara University.

• Karolina Yang will attend Tufts University.
