Islander Middle School fees and photos day is Aug. 23

Families new to Islander Middle School are invited to attend photo and fee day on Aug. 23, 30 minutes early.

The time allows volunteers extra time to acquaint families with the school and to help them through the photo and fee process. Families new to the school can come to room 402 on Aug. 23 beginning at 10 a.m. for sixth graders and 12:30 p.m. for new seventh and eighth graders.

Parents and students are also invited to the new family orientation the same day, Aug. 23 from 3 to 4 p.m. in the IMS Library. Students can meet the student leaders and learn about the school, as well, meet principles and members of the PTSA.

School begins on Aug. 31 for all students. Sixth graders can arrive at school at 8:10 a.m., and at 8:25 a.m. students will meet in the cafeteria/MPR room.

Seventh and eighth graders will drop off bags in their first period class at 11:10 a.m. and will meet in the gym at 11:25 a.m..

For all seventh and eighth grade students, buses will run three hours later than the regular pick up time. Lunch will be available for sixth grade students only that day.
