Timothy John Anderson and Allison Joy Asimakoupoulos were married on July 24, 2011, in Anderson Chapel at North Park University in Chicago. The bride’s father, Reverend Greg Asimakoupoulos, officiated the ceremony. The couple’s wedding reception was held at the Midwest Conference Center, and the couple honeymooned in La Jolla, Calif. Their first home is in Chicago.
The bride is the daughter of Rev. Greg and Wendy Asimakoupoulos, of Mercer Island. The groom is the son of Ann-Helen Anderson, of Chicago. The bride is a kindergarten teacher at North Park Elementary School and the groom is the youth pastor and worship leader at Northwest Covenant Church in Mt. Prospect, Ill. They met seven years ago while both were studying at Covenant Bible College in Quito, Ecuador. They both received their bachelor’s degrees from North Park University in Chicago.
