The Washington Association of Physicians of Indian Origin is holding a walkathon, "Legs for Life," at 9 a.m., Sept. 25, at Luther Burbank Park. The walkathon includes an activity called, "Walk and Talk with the Experts."

Community participants can walk along with physician experts in various fields of medicine that focus on cardiovascular health and stroke prevention. People can ask questions during the walk. Community participants who register will receive a free T-shirt, light snacks and will be treated to an entertainment program at MICEC by University of Washington students.
