The Senior Foundation of Mercer Island is hosting a holiday bazaar event between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Congregational Church at 4545 Island Crest Way.

Find crafts, handmade items, delicacies and bargains in the 're-gifting room' and more.

The bazaar will also feature a lunch provided by the church and Jeannette Eggebrecht.

Proceeds from the lunches served will be donated for the "Sunday Suppers and Then Some" program that serves a monthly meal to seniors. The program begun by Eggebrecht, with a seed grant in March to serve 12 households, has grown to serve 20 households. The hope is that the program can be expanded to twice a month.
