Two Mercer Island students recently won the Seattle Open, an improv tournament hosted by Wing-It productions. The Dec. 11 event is in it's sixth year.

Ryan Rouillard and Alex Lavalle, with the team name of Audition, won the event, facing off against teams from Kamiak, Woodinville and the Seattle Academy of Arts & Sciences.

The Seattle Open is the largest high school improv tournament of the year. Students show off their talents to friends and families during the competition. Participants also get to work with professionals in workshops.
