Julie Olson was married to Graham Stokes on Sept. 4, 2011. The wedding took place at Soldiers Chapel in Big Sky, Montana. The reception and lodging were at the Rainbow Ranch Lodge, also in Big Sky. The bride is the daughter of Bryan and Sharon Olson of Mercer Island. The groom is the son of Garrett Stokes, of Seattle, and Donna Stokes, of San Diego, Calif.

The wedding party included the maid of honor, Rebecca Olson, sister of the bride; and bridesmaids  Cait Campbell, Katie Jo Giesbers, Jordyn Jacobson and Julia Shlyankevich, friends of the bride. The best man was Tom Stearns, friend of the groom; and groomsmen were his father, Garrett Stokes; his brother,  Morgan Stokes, his friend, Tyler Mauer, and Michael Hoag, friend of the bride and groom.

The bride graduated from Mercer Island High School in 2004 and is currently a third-year student at the University of Washington Medical School. The groom also graduated from Mercer Island High School in 2004 and is currently employed at Tommy Bahama as the marketing program manager.

The couple honeymooned in Europe and makes their home in Bellevue.
