Three Mercer Island residents chaired the Jewish Federation Women’s Philanthropy event, “Connections 2012: The Power of Passion,” on Jan. 29. Andrea Lott and Kim Fisher served as co-chairs of the event, and Naomi Newman served as the Women’s Philanthropy chair.

The event featured guest speaker Iris Krasnow, best-selling author of such books as “The Secret Lives of Wives” and “I Am My Mother’s Daughter.”

Approximately $110,000 was raised for the Jewish Federation’s Community Campaign to support Jewish organizations locally, in Israel, and across the globe.
