Sherwood is outstanding history teacher for Washington

MIHS teacher Karen Sherwood has been awarded Outstanding Teacher of United States History for the state of Washington. Sherwood earlier won the regional award from the Cascade Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

The competition now moves on to the national level. Craig Olson, associate principal of MIHS, originally nominated Sherwood.
