The Mercer Island Schools Foundation is holding its 30th annual ‘Breakfast of Champions’ at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, April 24, at Mercer Island High School.

The event is to raise money in the foundation’s ‘Bridge the Gap’ campaign in order to hire more teachers and provide more resources for education in light of the state’s budget cuts to schools.
