Sale at Mercer Island Thrift Shop continues over weekend

A Memorial Day sale at the Mercer Island Thrift Shop begins today, May 24, with items priced at 25 percent off. Items will be 50 percent off on Saturday, May 26, and the shop is offering 30 percent off of everything on Memorial Day, May 28.
Next week, the shop is hosting a 75 percent off sale on Thursday, May 31, and $1.25 per pound on clothing, shoes and lines during "bag day," Saturday, June 2.
The thrift store is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Purchases benefit Mercer Island Youth & Family Services (MIYFS). Programs provided by MIYFS are supported money generated through sales at MITS. Counseling, senior adult outreach, substance abuse prevention/intervention programs, juvenile court diversion services, family assistance and JobLink are among Youth & Family Services' programs.
