The Mercer Island Thrift Shop is looking for both adult and youth volunteers to work at the store.
Volunteers will be able to gain retail experience, and a discount at the store if they volunteer 12 or more hours a month.
"We are looking for volunteers who enjoy interacting with the community and giving back," says MITS Coordinator Suzanne Philen.
Revenues from the store go directly to Mercer Island Youth and Family Services, helping to pay for various programs, including counselors at local schools.
To learn more about volunteering contact Philen at 275-7760 or by email at suzanne.philen@mercergov.org.
