The Mercer Island Community Marching Band thrilled the crowd when it appeared at the Grand Parade during Summer Celebration! on July 14. The band’s founding father, drummer Bert Pound, is seen at right, under the bell of the far left sousaphone.
More than 50 musicians joined the band.
