School brief | Mercer Islander graduates from Western Washington University

Western Washington University student Brady Patrick Regan, son of Kevin and Susan Regan of Mercer Island, received a $1,500 Sam and Joyce Porter Scholarship for the 2012-2013 academic year.

The Sam and Joyce Porter Scholarship is awarded to Engineering Technology majors at Western.

Regan is a junior studying Plastics Engineering Technology with a 3.52 GPA. He is a 2009 graduate of Mercer Island High School.
