Bike counters wanted

Volunteers on Mercer Island will be needed this fall to help count the number of people who walk or ride bicycles, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The volunteers will be needed on Sept. 25, 26 and 27.

More than 300 volunteers in 35 cities throughout the state are needed.
