Ellen Elizabeth Kozarek, the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Richard Kozarek, of Mercer Island, was married to Troy Scott Follmar, son of Dr. and Mrs. Ken Follmar, of Los Gatos, Calif., on Sept. 2, 2012. The wedding ceremony and reception took place at Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.

The bride and groom met in June 2006 on their first day of dental school at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. Both the bride and groom received their DDS degrees in 2009. The bride is a 2001 graduate of Mercer Island High School.

The bride is a general dentist in the Los Angeles area, while the groom is chief resident in his last year of an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at USC.

The couple resides in Marina del Rey, Calif. Next June they will move to Saratoga, Calif., where the groom will join his father's oral surgery practice. The couple is on their honeymoon in the south of France and northern Italy.
