Festival of Lights celebration Nov. 10 | Community news

The Mercer Island South Asian community is inviting the community to attend Diwali, the Festival of Lights on Saturday, Nov. 10 at Mercer Island Presbyterian Church.
The event will run from 5 to 11 p.m. and will feature children's play, dances and musical performances, as well as arts and crafts for the kids and a dinner catered by Spice Route. There will also be a raffle drawing and canned food donations will be accepted and given to the Mercer Island Youth and Family Services.
Tickets are $20 for adults and kids ages 4-12 are $12. Tickets are available online at www.sulehka.com and must be purchased by Nov. 5. Tickets will not be available at the door.
