Students and families at Islander Middle School can help the Seattle homeless by dropping off new and gently used pairs of shoes until Nov. 30.
Redeeming Soles, a local nonprofit, has distributed over 29,000 pairs of shoes to the homeless community and hopes to continue to do so.
A collection bin is set up in the IMS front office and any new or gently used footwear is accepted, specifically Redeeming Soles is looking for men's footwear.
