The upcoming lecture in the SJCC Jewish Touch Lecture Series is “Jewish Comedians in 1950s Hollywood,” at 2 p.m., Jan. 6, at the Stroum JCC, 3801 East Mercer Way. The speaker is Foster Hirsch, professor of film at Brooklyn College, who will explore comedians including Danny Kaye, Judy Holliday, Jerry Lewis, etc. Tickets: $8 (members), $12 (nonmembers). www.sjcc.org.
