Summer 2013 Mostly Music in the Park lineup announced

The Mercer Island Arts Council has announced the summer 2013 lineup for Mostly Music in the Park.
Set in Mercerdale Park, the concert series features something for everyone, and this summer features a special tribute to the Beatles' in honor of the 50th anniversary of the group's first album.
Concerts this summer will only be held on Thursday evenings, due to budget constraints. Concerts will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. except for the final concert, which will be held on Sunday, Aug. 25 at the Luther Burbank Amphitheater.
The first concert will be on July 25 featuring the swing band Portage Bay Big Band, followed by classic rock's Dynamite Limbo on Aug. 1. The Cajun/zydeco band Swamp Soul will perform on Aug. 8. The popular Beatles' tribute band Nowhere Men will perform on Aug. 15, while KoKo Joe will perform it's classic and country music on Aug. 22.
The final concert of the summer will be on Aug. 25 at the Amphitheater in Luther Burbank Park. The Russian Chamber Orchestra is slated to play.
