Adopt-a-thon coming to county animal shelter

Animal shelters and rescue groups will bring hundreds of dogs and cats from all over the state to King County’s Kent Animal Shelter on Saturday, June 21 for the region’s third annual Super Pet Adopt-a-thon.

When the doors open at 10 a.m., residents will be able to get up close and personal with dozens of pets looking for their forever home.

The event will take place at the King County Kent Animal Shelter, 21615- 64th Ave. S in Kent. For more information on adoption fees or the event, visit the shelter’s website at http://www.kingcounty.gov/pets.
