Portage Bay Band swings into Mercerdale Park for Mostly Music in the Park | Photos

The Portage Bay Band swung into Mercerdale Park on Thursday, July 25 for the first Mostly Music in the Park of the summer.

Concerts this summer will only be held on Thursday evenings, due to budget constraints. Concerts will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. except for the final concert, which will be held on Sunday, Aug. 25 at the Luther Burbank Amphitheater.

Next week's concert is classic rock's Dynamite Limbo on Aug. 1. The Cajun/zydeco band Swamp Soul will perform on Aug. 8. The popular Beatles' tribute band Nowhere Men will perform on Aug. 15, while KoKo Joe will perform it's classic and country music on Aug. 22.

The final concert of the summer will be on Aug. 25 at the Amphitheater in Luther Burbank Park. The Russian Chamber Orchestra is slated to play.
