Engagement: Swan-Shultz

Al and Melinda Swan of Danville, Calif., have announced the engagement of their daughter, Amelia Kristine, to Theodore Judson Shultz, the son of Theodore and Francesca Shultz of Mercer Island.

The future bride graduated from Ramon Valley High School in 2004 and the University of Redlands in 2007. She is currently a law student at Seattle University. The future groom is a 2001 graduate of Mercer Island High School and a graduate of the University of Redlands in 2005. He will receive his J.D. and LL.M in Taxation from the University of Washington in 2009. The couple is planning an August wedding to take place in Danville.
