Youth Theatre Northwest is proud to present its annual student showcase: the Cabaret and Fringe Festival. Performed annually in the spring, the Cabaret and Fringe Festival is an opportunity for YTN’s older youth to envision and create their own evening of theater. The Cabaret and Fringe Festival features short plays written, directed and performed by teens, with songs. Music was chosen and plays were created in response to various themes: truth and lies, self-discovery and control. Youth worked for over two months under guidance from YTN staff as they created and produced their own evening of theater.

Performance schedule

April 16 through April 19: All performances are at 7:30 p.m. All performances will be held at Youth Theatre Northwest, located at 8805 S.E. 40th Street.

Admission to the Cabaret and Fringe Festival is $8, for tickets in advance, and $10 at the door. Tickets are on sale now at the YTN box office.

For tickets or information, call (206) 232-4145, ext. 109, or visit YTN online at www.youththeatre.org.
