The engagement of Suzanne Ogden, daughter of Susan and David Dykstra (of Mercer Island), and Charles Vannatter, son of Gregory and Sueann Vannatter (of Napa, Calif.), has been announced.

Ms. Ogden is a 1999 graduate of Mercer Island High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Southern California, where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She received a Master’s in Business Administration in 2007 from the USC Marshall School of Business. She is currently a manager with Kohl’s Department Stores.

Mr. Vannatter graduated from Indiana University and also received a MBA in 2007 from the USC Marshall School of Business in 2007. He is currently an investment consultant at Fisher Investments in Vancouver, Wash.

Their wedding will take place on Sept. 12, 2009, at the Mercer Island Presbyterian Church.
