Ms. Janie Stewart has announced the engagement of her son, Jared Stewart, to Sarah Gattis, the daughter of Martha Carrier and Steve Gattis. Mr. Stewart, also the son of the late David Stewart, is a graduate of the University of Washington and the University of Arizona Law School. He is an attorney with the Seattle law firm of Palialunga and Harris. Ms. Gattis is a graduate of Colgate University. An August wedding in Seattle is planned.
