Patrick Fergusson graduated from Union College in Schenectady, N.Y., this June with a bachelor of arts degree in political science. Fergusson is a 2005 graduate of Mercer Island High School. Paul Volker, former chair of the Federal Reserve and head of President Obama’s economic recovery advisory panel, spoke at Commencement.
Katharine Angell Hall graduated earlier this spring with a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry from Pomona College.
Claire Blancett, daughter of Georgia Quick and Jeff Blancett, earned a bachelor of arts degree, majoring in English, from Eastern Washington University.
Charles Tonks, son of Mercer Island resident Andrew Tonks, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Ithaca College’s School of Humanities and Sciences in New York in May.
