Mercer Island Dermatology offers free skin cancer presentation July 26

Mercer Island Dermatology is offering a free skin cancer informational presentation at the Stroum Jewish Community Center on July 26. The free event, titled "Skin Cancer in the Pacific Northwest," begins at 10 a.m. Dr. Allison Hughes will present skin cancer basics, risk and prevention.

Hughes is a board certified dermatologist who focuses on general dermatology, with an interest in cosmetic dermatology. Having grown up on Mercer Island, Dr. Hughes is actively involved in the promotion of skin health in the Pacific Northwest. Mercer Island Dermatology, located in the downtown business district, offers comprehensive medical and aesthetic skin care.

The community is invited to the event at the SJCC, 3801 E. Mercer Way.
