Halloween party set at BAM
October 17, 2010 · 2:29 PM
The Bellevue Arts Museum will hold a Halloween party Oct. 29 offering only treats: music, art, dance, cocktails, even a magician and a psychic.
A prize will be awarded to the best homemade costume representing an artist or artwork. The first 100 guests will get a free, spooky BAM tattoo (no worries, it'll come off).
Highlights of the night include:
Spinning by DJs WD4D and Scratchmaster Joe
Cash cocktail/wine bar & straight-on candy
Psychic readings by Xtina of Scarlet Foundry Tarot ($10/person)
Live performances will include:
5:30 p.m.: Performing Arts Festival/Eastside Outstanding 2010 String Ensemble
6:30 p.m.: Gallery talk with on-the-rise Seattle glass artist April Surgent
7:30 p.m.: Dance In The City by Ballet Bellevue
The event is free for members and $10 for non-members.
BAM is located at 510 Bellevue Way NE. More information: www.bellevuearts.org/calendar/rsvp.htm or 425-519-0770.
