Interlake High School's orchestra will host its annual Taste of Music event from 7-9 p.m. Thursday. The event, described by the orchestra as "An Evening of 'Suites' and Delights," will feature long-time Seattle radio personality Gigi Yellen as its host. The event will serve as a fundraiser for the orchestra to raise money toward instrument repairs, sheet music, clinicians, and travel expenses.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students. The event will include desserts and a raffle.

In addition to the Interlake Chamber Orchestra, the program comprises violinist Simon Kim playing a series of pieces including Bach's Prelude; Interlake pianists Tania Rivers-Moore and Dong Won Lee playing Prokofiev and Chopin, respectively; violinist Dong Hee Lee playing the Paganini Violin Concerto No. 1; and Audrey Chen playing an unaccompanied cello sonata.

Also, groups of Interlake students will play both a cello trio and a cello quartet.

Interlake High School is located at 16245 NE 24th St.
