Bellevue resident Jerry Brown has received a Medallion Award from Seattle Pacific University. Recipients of the award are leaders within their chosen professions who reflect the values and ideals of Seattle Pacific, and are active in their communities.

Brown graduated from SPU in 1975. Soon after graduating, he earned the distinction of being the top financial services salesperson in a national sales force of more than 5,000 people. Before the age of 30, he co-founded Financial Network Investment Corporation (FNIC), one of the largest independent broker dealers in the country.

His service to SPU includes creating and leading the first Athletic Task Force for Falcon sports, as well as serving on selection committees for new coaches.
