Mostly Music in the Park begins Sunday

This Sunday, July 22 will be the first mostly Music in the Park performance in Mercerdale Park featuring the Dixie Kings Jazz Brass band.

The band, which is based out of Lake Forest Park, was formed in 2001. The band includes a trumpet, reeds, trombone, tuba, banjo/guitar and drums. The band plays "old school jazz style" and their performances include audience sing-a-longs and dancing.

Dixie Kings Jazz Brass includes Oleg Ruvinov playing tuba and bass, Tony Grasso on trumpet, Alexey Nikolaev on the saxaphone, Vidas Svagzdys on guitar and banjo, Mark Smason on trombon and Andrey Zasypkin on drums.

The performance is schedule to begin at 7 p.m.
