Jason Lu to perform with Eastside Symphony

Jason Lu, a junior and an International Baccalaureate student at Skyline High School, will be featured in the May 30 concert of the Eastside Symphony.

Lu, a violinist, will be featured in Korngold's Violin Concerto. The performance will be a 8 p.m. at the Redmond Performing Arts Center, 17272 NE 104th.

Also on the program will be Dvorak's Symphony No. 9, "From the New World."

Lu started his music studies at the age of four, with his mother teaching him piano. His violin studies began at age six.

Tickets are $7-$10 ($9-$12 at the door). Advance tickets can be purchased at https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/48243.
