Thomas Hong named assistant conductor of Seattle Symphony

Korean-born conductor Thomas Hong has been named assistant conductor of the Seattle Symphony. Starting in September, Hong will succeed Carolyn Kuan, whose appointment as Seattle Symphony’s Associate Conductor ended with the 2008–2009 season.
