The works of Jay Levey and Hilda Bordianu will be on exhibit at Parklane Gallery in Kirkland from April 6 to May 2.

Levey combines watercolor and acrylic paints with fused glass and resin in renderings that contrast real and abstract waterscapes against images inspired by photographs from the Hubble Telescope.

Bordianu's paintings in acrylics take flight in symbolism as she explores the vulnerability, fragility and fleetingness of life.

An artists' reception will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 8.

The gallery is open Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Parklane Gallery is located at 130 Park Lane.
