Hoskins, Zahavy-Mittelman coming to Parklane
June 28, 2010 · 1:21 PM
Art by Angela Hoskins and Yael Zahavy-Mittelman will be featured at Parklane Gallery in Kirkland from July 6 to August 1.
Hoskins celebrates the joys of childhood with An Appreciation of Life, paintings that capture the wonder and glee children get from simple everyday activities. In an act of appreciation, Angela will donate 5 percent of her proceeds from this show to Childhaven.
Zahavy-Mittelman paints large works in oils, using the strength of color, shape and line as abstract expressions of the power of touch, connection, aloneness and sorrow in her show Beads of summer.
Parklane is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tues-Sun. The gallery is located at 130 Park Lane, Kirkland, 425-837-1462.
