Free jazz at Bellevue Botanical Garden

International award-winning jazz vocalist Kelley Johnson and jazz pianist John Hansen will perform at the Bellevue Botanical Garden during a free “Music in the Garden” event Saturday, Aug. 7.

The Bellevue Botanical Garden Society will host the event, 5:30-8:30 p.m. People can bring blankets and picnic suppers. The garden, at 12001 Main St., features 53 acres of display gardens, woodlands, meadows and wetlands. Genii Blue the Clown will entertain the children.

The city owns and operates the garden with support from the Bellevue Botanical Garden Society and several other partners.

Entry to Saturday’s performance is free, but donations are welcome and encouraged. Parking is limited so carpooling, busing or biking is suggested. For more information, call 425-451-3755 or e-mail bbgsoffice@bellevuebotanical.org.
