Thank you to Mercer Island Guild supporters | Letter

On behalf of the Seattle Children’s Guild of Mercer Island, I would like to thank all the volunteers who stepped forward on March 17, to help us with the mailing of the 2017 Directory. Especially the “Soulmates” who were there in strong numbers. Many hands made the mailing swift and easy.

We would also like to thank Emmanuel Episcopal Church, on Mercer Island, for allowing us to use their social hall to work on the mailing aspect of this project.

This Directory project has been running since 1943, benefiting Uncompensated Care and Research at Seattle Children’s Hospital. There are 30 active members who work all year long updating and refreshing the information in the book. We would welcome your help at any time.

The Directory is a valuable to tool for businesses and residents on the Island. It offers the business community the opportunity to purchase ads, to inform our residents about their businesses; as well as those businesses who would like to provide needed services of the Mercer Island residents.

In the Directory, you will also find current lists about the city of Mercer Island’s major offices/emergency services/political officials/Mercer Island school information/a map of Mercer Island/community resources as well as religious, service and youth Organizations.

In addition, we include a list of residents who wish to be included in the Directory. Thank you to the wonderful community of Mercer Island, who through donations from this Directory, have supported many children in medical need. Your donations DO make a world of difference to those extremely sick children.

All donations are gladly received and will be given to benefit the care of extremely sick children. Help us surpass our $150,000 goal for 2017. Please mail your donation to Mercer Island Guild, PO Box 442, Mercer Island.

If you have any questions or would like to be included in the 2018 Directory, please contact us at 206-232-3903 or miphonebook@gmail.com.
