Longtime Seahawks fan in Mercer Island gets present from Pete Carroll

Covenant Shores resident and diehard Seahawks fan Lois Lawson got a personalized gift from Pete Carroll for her 100th birthday: a signed 12th man flag.

The Seahawks staffers who assisted with the flag signing said the team is “so proud to call her a loyal 12.” Lawson, who celebrated her birthday on Sept. 28, is also a fan of the Seattle Mariners.
